Dear Disney Cruiseline,
I boarded the Disney Dream about a month ago, a bit nervous as I didn't bring much food and have some moderate/severe food allergies. I had no idea what to expect, if I was going to starve, or have to use the oh-so-scary EpiPen while at sea.
But, you Disney, you were prepared.
Within my first hour of being on the ship, you met with me to discuss my food allergies. Then, at dinner you brought the chef to the table to further talk about menu choices and creating an individualized meal for me that he would prepare. And, when I couldn't eat something on the menu, you replaced it with something better.
During the buffet meals, you provided the ingredients list for every item you served that I could look at. When we went on the Castaway Cay Island, you sent a special meal just for me that we had decided on the night before, but then you took it farther and sent not just one meal, but two. Disney, I don't know how you do it, but I'm so grateful. You made my experience hassle free, and even special because my allergies weren't allergies with you. My allergies were tickets to meet your amazing chefs and see how you prepare all your meals, and assured me that Disney truly cares about their customers.
